Slater went on an absolute rampage on the final day of competition and fought his way back into a tough battle to overtake progressive Hawaiian Dusty Payne (Lahaina, HI), 22, by launching a hail-mary, no-grab backside 360 air…

In one of the most important and biggest surf events of the year, the Brazilians were on fire to face the North-American waves, showing everyone that the new generation of 6.0 surfers from Brasil have all it takes to compete with the best in the world. Felipe Toledo won the Juniors and took home a big fat check to Brasil.
