Surf Ride & Vans presents Art, Tunes, Friends

On Friday, March 13th, Surf Ride teamed up with Vans to give all their friends and family a night of music by Ray Barbee and Chuck Treece, and art from some of North County’s elite artists. With a seemingly endless supply of sushi provided by Fish Joint and an open bar, there wasn’t room for a dull moment.

Jason Bennett and Scott Seiver put on live demonstrations of their surfboard art, while Surf Ride’s own Dustin and Josh Bernard displayed some of their best landscape, surf and lifestyle photography. Bright shapes and colors painted with oil, acrylic and whatever else, kept the eyes stimulated thanks to Brian Snyder, Tom Cooley, Steve Peak and Dustin Bernard. And as the night went on and the drinks kept flowing, the crowd kicked back to the jazzy tunes of Ray and Chuck.
