Channel Islands invited us up for a tour of their surfboards making facilities in Santa Barbara. We even got to see Dane shredding! Check out Josh’s pictures below.

I really liked seeing how everything is made in house. Channel Islands surfboards are 100% American made. Every single board is hand finished by a human, and to see all the soul, heritage, and history in the building was really awesome. It was kinda cool walking around seeing Dane, Kelly, and Machado boards just chilling… The legitimacy of the whole operation is amazing. -Josh Bernard

We had a great tour of their warehouse. Those guys were very receptive and just as excited as us about working together this year. -John

I think it’s one tour I’d never get sick of. I’ve never seen so many sick sleds in one spot. – Blaine

Seeing all the handshaped AL boards stacked up was pretty rad; all the team boards laying around, and all the shaping bays / glassing facility. The amount of boards in inventory there was impressive. – Derek
